1. Aichi Prefectural Handa Middle School
11 /2 1918 Establishment of Aichi Prefectural Seventh Handa Middle School was approved.
4 /1 1919 The school temporarily started at Chita District First Jinjo Higher Elementary School.
9/1 1920 The new schoolhouse started to be built.
The school was partly moved to Nishinoguchi, Handa-cho.
5/1 1922 The school’s name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Handa Middle School.
11/12 1924 The schoolhouse was completed.
4/1 1948 The school’s name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
10/1 1948 Aichi Prefectural Handa High School and Aichi Prefectural Chita High School were integrate into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
2. Aichi Prefectural Handa Girl’s High School
1/28 1910 Aichi Prefectural Chita District Girl’s High School was approved.
4/1 1910 The school temporarily started at Chita District Handa Girl’s Jinjo Higher Elementary School.
3/12 1921 The new schoolhouse started to be built at Shirayamashita, Narawa-cho.
11/20 1921 The schoolhouse was completed.
4/1 1923 The school’s name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Chita Girl’s High School.
4/1 1925 A supplementary course was newly established.
2/15 1938 The school’s name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Handa Girl’s High School.
4/1 1943 A supplementary course was changed into an advanced course.
4/1 1948 The school’s name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Chita High School.
10/1 1948 The school was integrated into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
3. Handa Municipal Girl’s High School
2/28 1940 Handa Municipal Home Economics Girl’s High School was approved.
4/1 1940 The school started at Narawa in Handa city.
3/31 1946 Handa Municipal Girl’s High School was approved.
4/1 1948 The school’s name was changed into Handa Municipal High School.
10/1 1948 The school and Aichi Handa Commerce and Industry High School were integrated into Aichi Prefectural Handa Minami High School.
4/1 1949 Aichi Prefectural Handa High School and Aichi Prefectural Handa Minami High School and Aichi Agricultural High School were intergrated into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
4. Aichi Prefectural Handa High School
4/1 1948 The school name was changed into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
Normal curriculum and part-time curriculum were established.
General course was established in both normal curriculum and part-time curriculum (evening).
10/1 1948 Aichi Prefectual Chita High School was integrated into Aichi Prefectural Handa High School.
4/1 1949 Aichi Prefectural Handa High School, Aichi Prefectural Handa Minami High School and Aichi Agricultural High School were intergrated into Aichi Prefectural Handa Senior High School.
General course, home economic course, agricultural course and commercial course were set up in normal course.
Agricultural course was set up at part-time course(daytime) and general course was set up at part-time course(evening).
Utsumi Municipal Utsumi High School became our school’s branch school, which had normal curriculum and part-time curriculum.
4/1 1950 Agricultural course became independent and opened as Aichi Prefectural Handa Agricultural High School.
4/1 1951 Commercial course was seperated from us and opened as Aichi Prefectural Handa Commercial High School.
Taketoyo branch school was established and general course was set up at part-time curriculum (evening).
4/1 1954 Home economic course stopped accepting application for enrollment.
4/1 1957 Utsumi branch school became independent as Aichi Prefectural Utsumi High School.
11/2 1957 Library was inaugurated.
12/10 1959 The school area expanded to south. Acquisition of 4,059 square meters was completed.
4/1 1963 Part-time course at Taketoyo branch school stopped accepting application for enrollment and only full-time course remained.
6/30 1965 Hall-cum-Gym was completed.
4/1 1969 Part-time course(daytime) was set up.
7/7 1969 Clubhouse-cum-Instruction room and pool was completed.
12/31 1970 New building for part-time course(daytime) was completed.
3/25 1971 New third building was completed.
3/31 1973 New second building was completed.
4/1 1973 Part-time course(evening) stopped accepting application for enrollment.
2/10 1975 New main building was completed.
Additional building for part-time course(daytime) was built.
3/31 1976 Part-time course(night) was abolished.
4/1 1976 Taketoyo branch school became independent as Aichi Prefectural Taketoyo High School.
3/31 1979 Material art gym and the gym for part-time course(daytime) was completed.
11/3 1979 An anniversary ceremony of foundation
3/5 1992 “Shu-ryo Kaikan” (Memorial building by alumni) was restored.
2/20 1996 The Gym was restored.
4/1 1998 Part-time course(daytime) stopped accepting application for enrollment.
12/20 1998 Study room was expanded and bathroom was built inside “Shu-ryo Kaikan”.
3/4 2001 Part-time course (daytime) was abolished.
1/31 2008 New “Shu-ryo Kaikan” was completed.
11/7 2009 An anniversary ceremony of foundation
1/26 2011 Seismic strengthening works of third building (first term) was completed.
2/10 2012 Seismic strengthening works of third building (second term) was completed.
1/16 2013 Seismic strengthening works of the gym was completed.
4/1 2013 We started to be selected as Super Science High School (SSH).
9/23 2013 Special program for celebrating centennial of Nankichi Niimi’s birth.
10/7 2013 Sister school agreement with Brayanston School in England.
2/4 2014 Seismic strengthening works of second building and material art gym was completed.
1/24 2016 Exchanging with Mahidol school in Thailand started.
11/ 2018 Memorial project in the 100th anniversary of the foundation (coming soon)
